The MTN Foundation (MTNF) Scholarship Scheme is awarding a monetary scholarship to undergraduates in Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of education.
The scholarship which is running for the 12th consecutive year recognizes students in three 3 different categories: Undergraduates with excellent academic performances in Science and Technology-related fields, blind students and top UTME students for the year 2021.
MTN Foundation Scholarship value/duration:
The MTN Foundation scholarship award is worth a sum of N200,000 (two hundred thousand). The money will be paid to eligible candidate until graduation as long as they still meet the requirement.
MTN Foundation Scholarship Schemes Eligibility
The following categories of students are eligible for the MTNF scholarship program:
- Science and Technology-related students: The scholarship is open to 200 level and 300 level undergraduates with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent under its Science & Technology Scholarship Scheme (STSS). The annual award will span until the student’s graduation as long as they maintain the required CGPA.
- Blind Students: Under its Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (SSBS), the MTNF scholarship awards a sum of N200,000 to 60 blind students in tertiary institution irrespective of their courses. Like the science and technology students, the students also get to receive the award until graduation.
- Top 10 UTME Scholarship: The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) top 10 students will also get a sum of N200,000. The MTNF award these candidates from their 100 level, irrespective of their school or course of choice. Candidates will enjoy this benefits until their graduation as long as they main a good grade.
