University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) 2021 Post UTME/Direct Entry, cut-off mark, eligibility, and registration details

Beginning from today, Friday 15th October, the management of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) will commence the sale of its 2021 post UTME screening form for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Eligible UTME and Direct Entry candidates are those who have picked the institution as their first. In addition, Eligible UTME candidates are those that scored a minimum of 180 in the 2021 UTME.

The University of Nigeria Nsukka accepts two O’level sittings.

The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2000) only and candidates can only make payments online. Likewise, all registration must be completed online. Candidates do not need to appear physically at the University Campus before applying.

Registration is set to close on Saturday, 20th November 2021.

Eligible candidates for the UNN 2021 post UTME

Before applying, please ensure you meet the requirements below:

  • Both UTME and Direct Entry applicants must ensure they pick UNN as their first choice. The University of Nigeria does not accept choice. If you need to make corrections, you can obtain the JAMB correction form. This will enable you make you the necessary updates.
  • UTME candidates must meet the UNN 2021 cut off mark of 180.
  • All applicants must have at least 5 O’level credits in relevant subjects.
  • candidates must be ready to pay the screening fee of N2000.
  • Candidates who didn’t pick UNN but would like to do so can buy the JAMB change of Institution form.

How to apply for the University of Nigeria post UTME

The application steps below are for both the UTME and Direct Entry applicants of the University of Nigeria.

If you clicked on any of the above links, please jump to step 5 below and continue from there. Otherwise, start from step 1.

  1. Visit the official UNN portal at http://www.unn.edu.ng
  2. Click on “Portal“. You will find it next to the search button at the top right conet of the page. If you are using your mobile phone, you will find it at the top of the page.
  3. Click on “Prospective” and you will see a dropdown menu. Select “All Application Forms
  4. Select 2021/2022 ADMISSION APPLICATION”. The next selection depends on whether you are a UTME candidate or a Direct Entry Candidate.
    • So, if you are a UTME candidate, click on “Post UTME ADMISSION SCREENING APPLICATION”.
    • And if you are a Direct Entry candidate, click on “DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION SCREENING APPLICATION”.
  5. Enter your correct JAMB registration number.
  6. Next, make an online payment using any bank’s ATM card or you can pay at any commercial bank. Note that you would not be able to complete your registration until you pay.
  7. After a successful payment, return to the UNN portal once again and enter your JAMB registration number.
  8. Start filling your application form. Ensure all details are correct, including your contact information.
  9. Fill your WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Grades as well as your Examination Centre and
    Number. Note: If you are using awaiting result, you must also list your O’level subjects.
  10. Upload the following documents
    • Birth Certificate
    • Local Government Identification
    • Testimonial
    • UTME Result
  11. Ensure you go through your application thoroughly before submitting.
  12. Print our your application slip for evidence.

Application Deadline: Saturday, 20th November 2021.
